Emotions In Pictures

In this image, we were trying to get across poverty. To do this, once again, we dressed up one of our models in an old trench coat and a hat and put some empty alcohol bottles in front of him and loose change to show him living in the streets.

In this image, we were trying to get across strength. To do this, I laid on the ground and took a worms eye view shot of one of our models to make him look big, strong and intimidating.

In this image, we were trying to get across wealth. To do this, we took all bank cards we had, all money and everything else that would make someone look rich, and put them all together in one photo to show wealth.

In this image, we were trying to get across greed. To do this, we gave one of our models all of our phones, bank cards, iPods and wallets and let him hold them all. We wanted to make him seem greedy because he has everything.

In this image, we were trying to get across fear. To do this we got both of our models and got one of them to cower in fear whilst the other one threatened to hit him with a baseball bat.

In this image, we were trying to get across friendship. To do this, we got two of our friends and asked them to just go about their normal conversation whilst we took a picture.

In this image we were trying to get across danger. To do this, we found a sign with red on it to connote danger and we took a picture of it. This one is of a fire extinguisher.

In this image, we were trying to get across weakness. To do this, we got two models and asked one of them to fall against the other one whilst she held him up. This shows weakness because she is struggling to do so.

In this image, we were trying to get across desire. To do this, we asked a couple to look into each others eyes as they held hands. I think this works and shows desire in how much they want each other.

For these images, we were trying to get across love. To do this, we asked the same couple to kiss and hug whilst the pictures were taken. This shows love by the emotion felt in the picture.

In this image, we were trying to get across purity. To do this, we chose daisies because they are white and white connotes purity. We got a close up of this from a birds eye view.

In this image, we were trying to get across loneliness. To do this, we asked one of our models to stand in a isolated field whilst the picture was taken. This shows them being alone and therefore would connote loneliness.
